ENVIBOX
nice and eco-friendly food packaging
It is lightweight yet durable and can be reused for up to hundreds of cycles. And therefore, it not only saves natural resources, but also brings more value for money. It is made of nonoilen, which is a purely natural and compostable material (verified in practice) and therefore does not create any waste, but can become a source of compost to nourish the soil. It is hygienic, practical and classy. Envibox is designed and manufactured in Slovakia.
advantages
- modern design / a good-looker from Slovakia
- excellent sealing and shape retention
- free of crude oil and microplastics
- multiple use
- 100% compostable and biodegradable
Benefits of envibox bowls
It is lightweight and seals well
Compared to a glass container, it weighs much less. . It has an ideal weight suitable for carrying food with you.
The closure of the envibox has been designed so that the food, especially the one that is more liquid, will not spill out while you carry it.
Zero waste
Thanks to it being made of nonoilen, which is compostable (proven in practice!), it produces no waste, but can become a source of compost to nourish the soil.
When the envibox becomes damaged and can no longer be used, it can be collected for recycling or disposed of in a composting facility.
It is stackable and storable
When empty, before or after use, multiple enviboxes can be stacked on top of each other so they don’t take up too much space.
And when they are full, when you stack them, they won’t slide because they have stoppers that allow you to safely place one envibox on top of the other.
Lasts up to hundreds of cycles
The design of the envibox has been made so that it doesn’t bend when you handle it and holds in your hands firmly enough.
You can use it repeatedly up to several hundred times.
No microplastics
It is made of bio material (nonoilen), which is natural and unlike commonly used plastics, no microplastics are produced when it breaks down. Because it comes from plant sources, it also does not contain bisphenol A (BPA). It is therefore suitable to use for takeaway food wrapping and safe for health.
Nonoilen is a certified material for use in contact with food. It is made without crude oil and therefore contains no synthetic polymers made from fossil raw materials/crude oil, but is similar in properties to conventional plastics (PE, PP, polyesters, etc.).
Environmentally friendly and sustainable
The main advantage is that the envibox is reusable and made of nonoilen.
Thanks to its reusability, the envibox has a several times longer lifespan compared to disposable food packaging, and therefore several times less raw materials are used to produce it and so many times less waste is generated compared to the disposable variant.
What’s more, by sourcing nonoilen exclusively from renewable raw materials, and by being biodegradable and compostable, the envibox has a much lower carbon footprint.
Keeps food tastier
And because it has a lid that seals well it’s safe to put food away for later. Hot and fresh
A good-looker with Slovak DNA
It has a modern design from Slovakia, which is why even the most demanding customers will love it.
Envibox is of purely Slovak origin – the idea, material (nonoilen), design and production.
Why was envibox created?
It is good we have such possibilities today. A wide range of food, we can eat quickly, efficiently and well. BUT have you ever thought about the impact of such behaviour on the environment and on our health?
I mean – have you realised the heaps of disposable packaging waste we thus create?
If each of our aforementioned diners would, on average, order 2 takeaway meals a month, creating 100 pieces of packaging waste over 2 years. Calculated in relation to the current productive population living this lifestyle, this would mean roughly 30 million pieces of packaging waste!
Eh…? Imagine our beautiful Tatra Mountains becoming mountains of waste over time!
Personally, it bothers me. And I find that the same applies to many environmentally and socially conscious people around me, too. How about you? Is this what we want, for our country to become a rubbish dump, to leave such a dirty legacy to the next generation, to our children? Or do we want a healthy and beautiful country for us and for them?

* Less waste by using the envibox for its lifetime of 2 years
Difference compared to the used disposable food packaging made of “eco-bio” materials
Legislation increasingly restricts and motivates to reduce the use of single-use plastic food packaging. As a result, a wide range of alternatives presenting themselves as ‘eco’ are emerging on the market. Unfortunately, apart from the fact that they end up in the bin after one use, the question is, which bin they end up in. Often it is not possible otherwise, because they cannot be sorted and end up as mixed waste in landfills or incinerators for various reasons – they are contaminated with food residues, they do not meet the necessary parameters for compostability, there is no capacity to sort them, they contain different types of materials (coated or laminated paper) coming from the production, which makes it difficult or impossible to recycle them.
Even if the packaging is made of recyclable plastic and gets recycled, the recycling process uses a lot of water and energy and the plastic gradually loses quality with each recycling. Recycling is a better solution from an environmental point of view than putting the waste in landfill, because it does not need to use as much crude oil as if the packaging were made from primary, raw materials.
And because nonoilen is derived entirely from renewable raw materials, and is biodegradable and compostable, the envibox has a much lower carbon footprint. And by composting after decomposition, we are also returning substances (carbon) back into the soil from which the agricultural crops and plants will grow again.
Difference from the reusable plastic box option
